Our school buses are owned, operated and maintained by Bowmanville District Christian School Society. There are six bus routes which cover various areas in the municipality of Clarington. The towns of Bowmanville, Orono, Hampton, Newcastle, Courtice and Newtonville each have busing service.

The outlying boundary limits for the bus routes are as follows:

▸ Durham Road 20 to the north

▸ Lake Ontario to the south

▸ Hope/Clarke line to the east

▸ Oshawa Townline to the west

No bus is permitted to pick up any student outside those boundaries; however, families who live outside those boundaries are permitted to bring their child to a place located along the bus route. The bus routes are set using the families that are located inside the defined areas.

Please note that the bus routes are set by the Transportation Committee near the beginning of August each year. It is difficult to know pick up times and locations until the Transportation Committee issues the routes.

The guideline used when organizing the bus routes is that no student will be picked up before 7:30 a.m., and all students will arrive at school by 8:30 a.m.
